To say that I need a holiday the heck out of this city is a huge understatement. I don’t know why, but it seems like every possible crazy thing that could happen to us this past six months has managed to happen. Elderly relatives dying, pets needing emergency vet surgery, vehicles imploding and the list goes on. Of course there was the royal wedding, as well, that had our entire neighborhood tied in knots for weeks. Our flat was in the middle of a blocked off zone, so we had to go past police and barricades for almost a week straight just to get to work or the grocery or anything! Well now that it’s finally settled down, I told my husband we simply need to get our caravan out of storage and find look at some Yorkshire caravan parks near a nice lake. He likes to go fishing, and I love to be able to sit in the shade and read a nice book, whilst enjoying silence and solitude.
