October 16, 2011 Obedience Training When Traveling with a Dog
All dog lovers know how important dog obedience training is in order to get along with neighbors, other dogs and with adults and children during public outings or when traveling with a dog. A well-trained dog can be a wonderful lifelong companion who remains loyal.
It is only when you are traveling with your dog that you need a little extra help with keeping your dog well-behaved. A few helpful tips are in order when you bring your dog along on an airline long-haul flight across country or to another continent altogether.
With this end in mind, I’ve created a dog obedience blog that does just that. Tips when traveling with a dog are just one of the topics covered in the blog. Other topics delve more deeply into dog training techniques using crates and other proven methods to train your dog. You can check it out at dog obedience training when traveling with a dog. I welcome any and all comments you may have related to the topics presented there.
I’ve often been pleasantly surprised at helpful tips about training dogs that I’ve learned from those who take the time to make comments on the blog. Till next time,
Bruce
