I am going to let you know how to build your list using article marketing and get a ton of traffic for free.

To put it simply, you write and submit articles on your niche subject to popular article directories, where the information you provide can then be accessed by search engines, eZine publishers and the directories site visitors. At the bottom of the article is what is known as a resource box, this in effect is a short author bio and allows you to insert a link or two to your own website. The link should be pointing directly to your squeeze page, this will allow you to build a list with no financial outlay.

The resource box is probably as important as the article itself, as you have to craft a compelling pitch to get the reader to click on the link within, if they do not click on the link, you have no traffic!

Make sure your articles are well written and have enough depth of knowledge within your chosen niche. Do a little research if you are not sure of the subject matter and please! At least run a spell check before you submit it. There is nothing worse for your credibility than an error strewn article, this includes facts as well as spelling.

There are a couple of factors to consider when looking at leveraging your article. The first is the article directory will usually have more authority from the search engines than your own site, thus your article will get indexed and ranked faster. This allows it to show up on search engines for your specific keyword.

The second is that any eZine publishers who are looking for specific content can republish your articles for their readers and subscribers. Your resource box with the link to your squeeze page will still be at the bottom of the article and as more publishers use your article, the more your link gets spread around the web, thus giving you a viral marketing effect without much effort on your part.

This is an excellent way to build a list with free traffic.
